There is going to be quite a Hullabaloo at the Watertown Library this summer!! The
theme, BUILD A BETTER WORLD, is part of the Cooperative Library
Summer Reading Program for 2017.
Summer Reading Club 2017 will kick off on July 10 and run through August 11 at the Watertown Library.
For a full schedule of events and projects please go to this direct link.
This year the library is again partnering with the Watertown Food Bank. Children and families who are interested in helping are asked to bring healthy snacks for donation which will be delivered weekly to the food bank. Such items would include juice boxes, granola bars and fruit snacks.
If you are more comfortable with a paper reading log, or you want one for backup, you may download one for the Governor's Summer Reading Challenge here.
The Governor's Summer Reading Challenge identifies the schools with the highest percentage of participating enrollment and the highest number of books read by participating students.
We are very thankful to the Friends of the Watertown Library who are sponsoring the Wednesday Family programs this year which has allowed us to offer other special programs.
We would also like to thank Rudy and Debbie Graziano who make an annual donation toward children's summer programming. Your interest and generosity inspire us to do more.
