Welcome to the Terryville Public Library's 2017 Winter Reading Program! If you have any questions about registration, logging minutes, or completing challenges, please call the library at (860) 582-3121 or email tplchild@biblio.org.

 How it works:

READING: Log the amount of time you spend reading. For every hour you read, you'll earn a ticket.

CHALLENGES: Complete the weekly challenges. The majority of the challenges have four parts to them. You'll earn a ticket for each completed challenge. New challenges will be released weekly. Challenges do not expire. You have until the end of the program to do them.

You'll be notified when you've earned a ticket whether it's for reading or completing challenges.

Stop by the library to receive the tickets you earned and enter them into our end-of-the-summer drawing!  (You can also get an up close and personal look at the prizes you could win!  Each ticket is a chance to win one of the prizes!)

Come in as often as you like! The last day to earn tickets and enter them into our drawing is Wednesday, February 22, 2017.

Reading great books isn’t the only thing on the library’s schedule, though. We’re also offering a broad selection of fun programs including a Hooked on Llamas, Wild Wednesday, a stuffed animal sleepover and storytime and Edward Leonard's Fun with Rhythms! All of our programs are FREE to enjoy!
