Ways to Win Prizes

"Attend an HBL Event" Challenges = Tickets for Drawings

Whenever you attend a Huntington Branch Library event, go to "Challenges" and submit the program name and date along with the name of the prize drawing you would like to enter. Two HBL programs equal one entry in a drawing. The more HBL programs you attend, the more chances you will have to win! **If you submit a program online, you do not need to do so in person.**

Names of Prize Drawings:

Two Beanie Boo Phone Holders

Hot Wheels Dragon Blast Set

My Little Pony Helicopter

LEGO Fire Response Helicopter Kit

Mini Dog Music Speaker

Stikbot Studio Pro

Butterfly Habitat

Winners will be selected the week of August 7.

Winners will be limited to receiving only one drawing prize. Prizes must be picked up by September 5.

Literacy Task Challenges & Reading Log = Small Prizes

Log each completed Literacy Task under "Challenges." You may complete tasks in any order. Once all 9 tasks are complete, you will earn a prize!

Log your reading time under "Books." Once you read for 5 hours, you will earn a prize!

Each child is limited to one reading prize AND one literacy prize.

Completing All Three = $20 Gift Certificate to Sports Center of CT!

If you attend at least 2 HBL programs, read for 5 hours, and finish all of the literacy tasks, you will receive a form that will be submitted to Sports Center of Connecticut. All children who complete the form will receive a $20 gift certificate for the Sports Center in the fall!

Please Remember:

We prefer that you be present, but your parent/guardian will be allowed to pick a prize in your absence. Prizes cannot be exchanged.
