Tue, May 21, 2019 -- Tween Writing Workshop at 6:30 PM
This hands-onÂ workshopÂ focuses on the methods and styles forÂ writingÂ novels and short stories. Dialogue, plotting, conflict and characterization styles will be discussed and insight into the publishing and submission process given. The majority of the course consists of in-classÂ writingÂ exercises and in-class critiquing by peers and instructor.Â The goal is to write at least one short story and/or the beginning chapter/chapters of a novel. Pre-Class Assignment: Write opening pages for a short story or novelÂ and bring it to the first class for critiquing.Â
Registration is required and will incluse 3 sessions. . Class will meet from 6:30-8pm on Tuesday, May 7th, 14th, and 21st.

Teens in grades 6 and up canÂ join instructor, Alex Gonzales, to learn how to code, design and develop your own 3D game using Unreal Engine. Work with other teens in this fourÂ session class. Registration for this class will sign you up for all four sessions:Â 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, and 5/22.
