Adult Summer Reading Program 2017: Build a Better World

Thank you for signing up for the Portland Library Adult Summer Reading Program 2017. You will receive a coupon for a free book (value $2.00) from the Friends' 2nd Hand Prose Book Shop for registering for the summer reading program. If you read and log 2,000 pages, you get another coupon for an additional book when you achieve that milestone. You can log books from June 19th through August 25, 2017!

For every 250 pages that the Adult Summer Reading participants of Portland Library log as a group, the library will donate money for 1 book to Books For Eastern Congo a non-profit organization that has shipped over 37 million books to 49 different countries since 1988.
The current project in Eastern Congo works with the local communities to put books into the hands of more children and youth in Eastern Congo, helping to provide them with a better quality education.
Together we can build a better world!
