Start your summer reading adventure!  Pre-sign up begins June 12. Our program officially begins June 23. That's when you can start logging your reading and come to the library for a free book for registering and pick up a log sheet at the library. If you have questions or need assistance, call the library at 603-352-0157.

To sign up online, you will need the email of a parent or guardian. If your parent or guardian does not have an email address, you will need to signup in the library. Once signed up, kids will keep track of the time they read or listen to books & they will earn bonus points for attending library programs & completing games & tasks online & in the community. Any & all kinds of reading counts!

We have four separate programs (Very Young Kids, School Age Kids, Teens, and Adults). You can choose the one that fits you best. By logging minutes read, events attended, and challenges/activities completed, you earn chances to win library and Bruins prizes, digital badges and certificates, and special invitations from local organizations.

REGISTERING TIPS
  1. If you registered last summer, you can use the same username and password. If you are a new user or do not recall last summer’s info, create a new username and password!  Passwords require at least 5 characters and are case sensitive. Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation email. SAVE IT!
  2. Please enter your school and the grade that you will be in during the fall of 2019. Remember, the lucky school with the most registrants will their name engraved on our traveling trophy.
  3. The online game allows you to create and equip an avatar as you read. The Game Difficulty question relates to how fast the game progresses. It only affects the online game play.

NEW THIS YEAR:
  • Parents/guardians can access all of their children's accounts from a single log-in using the Family Management Portal.
  • Group registration is available for summer groups and day cares.
  • You can choose a personal reading goal. You do that once you log your reading.
  • This year, we added a community goal. If together we read 500,000 minutes then we will celebrate with a special event in the fall.

CHALLENGES:
Summer challenges will be found under the CHALLENGES tab or at the Keene Library.  Each challenge has a description and completion instructions!
