Welcome to the Teen Summer Learning Program!
For every hour you read you will earn a grand prize entry.  When you reach 20 hours of reading you will be able to pick up a prize bag in the children's area or call us for curbside pick-up.  After 20 hours you can earn a grand prize entry for every 5 hours you read.

2020-12-05 VIRTUAL: An Evening with Bill Nye: Science Educator, Television Host, and co-author of <em>Bill Nye's Great Big World of Science</em>

The Hudson Library & Historical Society will host a live virtual streaming event for all ages with every kid's favorite science educator, Bill Nye. Nye will discuss his latest book, an everything-you-need-to-know-about-science book that features a full range of subjects, from chemistry to astronomy to global warming, and includes experiments to do at home. 

Registration with an email address is required to receive the Zoom link closer to the program date. Please register once per family.

2020-12-05 Virtual Teen Library Council

Hudson Library & Historical Society

Teens age 11-18 can join us virtually to discuss teen programs and teen life in the library. This is an opportunity for teens to get involved in at the library and in their community. We plan library events together, teens can volunteer at childrens events and our Teen Library Council even chooses books to order for our teen collection. 

Registration is required for this program and a valid email is required at time of registration.  Participants will receive an email of their Zoom invitation the day before the program. This program will not be recorded.

Ready for some slime time? Children in grades 3-6 are welcome to join us as we make a different slime each month. This virtual program requires participants to pick up supplies from the library.  You will be notified closer to the program date about instructions for picking up your slime program bag.
