Farmington Libraries Summer Reading 2016

Have fun, and earn prizes! Children keep track of the time spent both reading and being read to -- and earn prizes! Read your own books, or borrow books from the library. No timer is necessary: please just estimate the time you've spent reading each book.

Enter book titles to count towards the Governor's Summer Reading Challenge.

Register for summer reading beginning June 1, and enter your reading minutes all summer long: from the first day of summer vacation to the first day of school!

After the first hour of reading, stop by the library to pin your name on our Olympic wall. After five hours of reading, pick up an awesome book bag.

Come to the library at ten and fifteen hours to spin the prize wheel. At fifteen hours, you've reached our goal, and you will also collect a certificate and cast a vote for your choice for something new and fun at the library.

Keep entering your reading beyond 15 hours for more chances to vote.

No need to print out your reading log this year: we will share your summer reading information directly with your school if you choose that option when you register.

Check out the "challenges" for more exciting ways to interact with the library this summer.

We are here to help! Please stop by or call the library if you have any questions about our online summer reading program: 860.673.6791 -- or e-mail Sarah Kline Morgan, smorgan@farmingtonlibraries.org
