Welcome to Bridgman Public Library's Youth Summer Reading Program. This program is for children ages 2 through 17 years old (entering grade 12).
You are invited to Imagine Your Story this summer with the Bridgman Public Library!
This year our Summer Reading Program will be conducted online and through curbside pickup. You can log your reading minutes using Wandoo Reader or on paper. Wandoo Reader is a mobile-friendly website for tracking reading. Once you create an account, it is reusable for future programs.
While the library building is closed to the public, reading logs and goody bags can be picked through curbside service starting Friday, June 26. Participants must log at least 30 minutes to earn the goody bag, which replaces the welcome bag and weekly prizes this year.
Count your minutes from books read from the Bridgman Public Library, digital books from Overdrive/Libby and Hoopla, and this year, books you may already own.
Every 30 minutes logged is an entry for our end-of-summer drawing. Other challenges will be added. If met, readers will earn an additional drawing entry. If you're tracking using paper, call in your progress at 269-465-3663.
We also have set a Community Reading Goal of 100,000 minutes for the 8-week program. Everyone's reading counts towards the Community Goal. Help us make our goal! (In 2019, you all read 98,340 minutes.)
Contact Eden Morris, Youth Services Librarian, at 269-465-3663 or firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
NOTE: If you have more than one family member, you can link accounts by clicking the "Enter Family Management Portal" button. This allows you to add, register, and manage your whole family's accounts in one place. Each child will need an account, but you can easily log in to each account without entering each username and password again. Parents! We have a reading challenge for you, too! Click to register.
