Start your summer reading adventure!  Pre-sign up begins June 1. Our program officially begins June 10. That's when you can start logging your reading and come to the library for a free book for registering, and start reading!

To sign up online, you will need the email of a parent or guardian. If your parent or guardian does not have an email address, you will need to signup in the library. Once signed up, kids will keep track of the time they read or listen to books & they will earn bonus points for attending library programs & completing games & tasks online & in the community. Any & all kinds of reading counts!

In this program, parents & caregivers will read with babies, toddlers, and others. The prizes in this program will appeal to young children. School age kids that are not reading independently should join the Kids Summer Learning Game.
We also have a program for teens and a program for adults. Parents are encouraged to join. When your kids see you taking the time to read, they can learn that reading is enjoyable.

If you registered last summer, you can use the same username and password. If you are a new user or do not recall last summer’s info, create a new username and password!  Passwords require at least 5 characters and are case sensitive. Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation email. SAVE IT!
Please enter your school and the grade that you will be in during the fall of 2017. If you aren't in school or preschool yet, choose "Not in school yet" from the drop down list.

Parents/guardians can access all of their children's accounts from a single log-in using the Family Registration function.

Summer challenges will be found under the CHALLENGES tab or at the Keene Library.  Each challenge has a description and completion instructions!

By logging minutes read, events attended, and challenges/activities completed, you earn chances to win library and Bruins prizes, digital badges and certificates, and special invitations from local organizations. All prizes and free books are available as supplies last.

Our programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Keene Public Library, the Trustees of the Keene Public Library, & other community sponsors.  If you need help or you have questions, please call the Youth Department at the Keene Public Library at 603-352-0157.
